- Several Stevenson-Rhodenbaugh children are buried in New Windsor Cemetery, except for one half-sibling.
William James Stevenson (Father):
- Married Anna J. Stevenson (1854–1882) and had four children.
- Anna likely died during childbirth or from complications, as she passed on the same day her daughter was born.
- These four children are our half aunts/uncles.
- Later married Mary Olive Rhodenbaugh, who became our great-grandmother.
- Together, they had multiple children, including Edith Stevenson-Rhodenbaugh.
William James Stevenson’s Parentage:
- The identity of his father is uncertain, but research suggests his father emigrated from Ireland.
- Some records list Alexander Stephenson as his father.
Mary Olive Rhodenbaugh Stevenson:
- A member of the Rhodenbaugh family, with a well-documented lineage.
- Her parents are also buried in Western Cemetery.
Isaiah Rhodenbaugh (1820–1912) – Mary Olive’s Father:
- One of the earliest settlers of Mercer County.
- Married Mary Jane Metzler-Rhodenbaugh, our grandmother.
- Had multiple children, with many Rhodenbaugh descendants still buried in the region.
